"GHAR EK MANDIR" is the story of a home whose foundations were laid on love and sacrifice. To Prem and his family the home was like a Temple. Prem's family consisted of his wife Laxmi his two brothers Vijay and Ravi, and children Krishna and Sujata and friend Rahim. Prem showered his affection on his family members, as well as on the workers who worked with him in the factory. Prem and Rahim worked together in the factory owned by Seth Dharamdas, who conducted it like a dictator with the help of Shera. Prem lost his life fighting for the rights of the workers-and the Temple lost its God.
Sapna the daughter of Dharamdas married Prem's brother Vijay and snatched away from Laxmi the solace of happiness. Also Rahim could not escape the merciless hands of death. The state of Laxmi's family became miserable and its fate was swaying with the winds of misfortune. Laxmi's only hope was her brother-in-law who stood like a rock withstanding all the evil forces working against him. And Seth Dharamdas with his henchman Shera was trying to snatch away from Laxmi even this one ray of hope.
Did Dharamdas and Shera succeed in their evil scheme?
Did Ravi really prove to be the Rock of Gibraltar?
The answer is 'GHAR EK MANDIR".
